This blog is dedicated to the Stydia Shippers Unite Project.

 

This project was organized in an effort to connect Stydia shippers all over the world. No matter where you are from or what language you speak, we wanted to be able to make it possible for us to come together regarding these two love birds, but also somehow communicate with one another more efficiently.

 

What is the Stydia Shippers Unite Project?

It is basically just a sort of databse where you can locate Stydia shippers all over the world. It allows us to get ahold of Stydia shippers fast and efficiently! The "project" will basically help us connect when we need help with polls/internet related projects/basically anything regarding the ship, could quite possibly be posted on this website!

 

How to Join?

 

All you have to do is go to the contact tab on this website (you're currently in "About") and shoot me an email if you're feeling old fashioned. Though, if you're more comfortable with using social media, because that is just where you are more active, feel free to DM me on Twitter or even send me an ask or message on Tumblr! Just click on one of the bottom icons on the corner of this screen, pertaining to whatever social media account you want to get ahold of me on.

 

I'm about to message you, what do I say? What do I need to give you to join or be apart of this project?

 

To make things move faster, I would like for you to just message me simply with your preferred social media account that I can contact you on, then also let me know of your location. You can provide a specific location, like the town/city you live in, or you can go as broad as the state/province/country, whatever you are most comfortable with doing, that is just fine.

 

Would you prefer me to message you on Twitter or Tumblr? Does it matter?

 

There are pro's and cons that come with both of these options.

 

Twitter allows you to participate in trends, retweeting/favoriting, which is always fun. It helps us stay connected with the actors/actresses as well (not that we're going to bug them a ton or anything! Respect boundaries please!), that way when we are doing trends with the mass of us all together, they can see how much we care about this ship and we can also express it through, tweets, gifs, edits and such while also connecting with one another.

 

Tumblr is also beneficial though because this is where all the big and interesting posts happen. Tumblr allows you to be more creative of the way you want your account to look and allows you to focus more on the depth of what you want to talk about and less about how many followers you have (you technically can't see how many people are following other users, and no one can see how many people are following you, only you can know). This allows you to follow as many people as you want! There's no need to worry about your busy feed because it's a lot nicer to just go in the tags anyways. Type in Stydia in the search bar, and there pops up every single post regarding Stydia that there is.

 

The thing with Tumblr though, is that it tends to be a lot more active when the show is actually playing on TV. During hiatus, a lot of people stop using Tumblr and go back to their personal accounts and focus on life for a while (normal people). It's also a lot better when the show is currently on because then you have fresh gifs/edits to see regarding recent episodes, not just the same stuff over and over again because no one has posted anything. Twitter is sucky at times though as well because you can only post so much at a time.

 

Also, I personally post a lot of stuff on both accounts, which is why I think it would be awesome for us to all get an account for both of them in order to stay even more connected with stuff in the future regarding Stydia. It does not take too long to make either accounts, and it's not like you have to be too active either. I genuinely think that both of the websites are awesome for their own reasons, they have both made me adore this duo even more than I think I ever would have by just watching the show on TV. 

 

So the answer is, no it does not matter. All  that really matters is that you have at least one of these accounts, and if you have both, awesome! How I log people is not by their first, nor their last name, but by their location along with their Twitter/Tumblr username, which is why it's important to have at least one. 

 

What's the point of emailing you at all if you want us to have at least a Twitter or Tumblr account account? Couldn't we just message you from there?

 

Well, I kind of just realized that this is going to get messy. Right now, there are currently a lot of people that have asked to be in this group, and my messaging is getting so stacked up on both accounts that I can barely breathe. Emailing allows the opportunity to spread it out a little bit, so that I am not constantly filled with messages only on my Tumblr and Twitter. This also allows for us to communicate more professionally if that is what you would prefer.

 

What is it exactly you will be messaging me about? Are you going to blow up my phone?

 

The plan is to not necessarily inform you of every single post that exists or tweet or anything like that, nothing too crazy. Whenever I message you, it will usually be in regards to you personally. I would like to know each and every one of you the best that I can. Whether it be regarding something of yours being shown on this website or perhaps just keeping you aware of stuff in the fandom, it is genuinely up to you. The log that I am trying to put together will allow me to recognize all of you personally and how much you are comfortable with me contacting you and what exactly it can entail.

 

I will notify everyone though when it comes to Twitter Trends. We usally trend worldwide as often as we can, and if everyone can participate, that would be awesome. Some people just arn't aware that it is happening and they would have participated but just weren't online at the time to know that it was happening. It has happened to me a ton of times where I log on and see that they trended a few hours ago and I didn't get to post anything to keep it trending, it's honestly so dissapointing, which is why I will be notifying everyone when that occurs.

 

Also, another thing I will notify you on is Polls, whether they are simple ones that are just important because we make them important, or actual important ones that involve Award Shows and possibly being nominated and winning. With all of us knowing about it at the same time, we have a really good chance of winning. 2016 is our year, and I want everyone to know that it's going to be a crazy year as it is, so why not come together and make it even more worth our while?
